The colors are changing.
The sun is setting sooner.
I'm still gathering wood.

September - early to the 18th

The weather has been rainy.

But I have been picking away chainsawing down trees and spliting them. I am using my air compressor powered wood splitter. It works great. It is not as fast as a gas powered one. It does the job I need it to do.

Scout and I still have time for walks and exploring.

Change of Season in the Air

Nights are cooler.
Sunsets earlier.
Sunlight is more intense.

Summer winding down

The deck was stained with Cabot Australian timber oil. About 5 cans worth Yikes.
The water was still warm enough to swim.
Fires at night.

Excavation Done

The excavation out to the water is done. Next year I will be putting a walkway and possibly a small deck out by the water. I now have a clearer view of the shoal.
