Scout and I visited the traveling vet at the town hall parking lot. He could not spay her until October, so I went down to Rockford for the surgery.

His Ford super duty 450 was a sweet set up.

Rock busting was going on.
The ledger boards were attached.
Measuring, cutting, sawdust.

Bald eagles flying overhead.
Daily trips to Sunes.

PILLARS DUG

The pillars were dug and cement added. Over 20 bags of 8o pound redi-mix.
Scout was very interested in all the hole digging and she dug a few of her own holes.

Scout and I walked over to Big Shoal Beach for a little beach time.

BIG WAVES

I am late in posting updates on Drummond.

I went back down to Rockford and Scout was spayed at the beginning of September.
So I got behind updating my blog .

So here we start:
On the 21st, big waves came in from the southwest. They ate up about 20 feet of the shore and covered the Rock Ledge I have my morning coffee on. The waves were 4-6 feet breakers.

The deck is at the stage of digging holes for the cement pillars.

I also included some shots of the dogs relaxing around the house.
